Is Free really free forever?
Yes. Free has no time limit and no credit card. You get lifetime translation allowances (10k words, 3 images, 2 video minutes), limited monthly hosting for localized pages, and GlotEO branding. When you outgrow Free, upgrade — no countdown pressure.
Are Free allowances monthly or lifetime?
Lifetime. Free includes 10,000 translated words, 3 image translations, and 2 video minutes total — not every month. You can keep viewing what you’ve created within the hosting allowance; new localization beyond those totals requires upgrading.
What does “hosted localized pages — Limited” mean on Free?
Free includes a small hosting allowance (for example, 2,500 localized pageviews/month) as an abuse and COGS control. Paid plans include full hosting under normal usage — pageviews are not a paid-plan pricing dimension. If you hit the Free hosting cap, upgrade to keep serving your translated site.
Why not a 14-day trial?
Website localization isn’t always evaluated in two weeks. Teams connect a site, translate a few pages, try languages, show stakeholders, and publish later. Start free and upgrade when you’re ready to grow.
Do you offer annual billing?
Yes. Choose Annually on the pricing page to get 2 months free — you pay for 10 months and get a full year of access. Annual prices are shown as the yearly total, with the monthly equivalent noted underneath.
Do previously translated words count against my allowance?
No. On paid plans, previously translated content does not consume your monthly allowance again. Translation memory reuses cached segments so you only pay for new words.
What does every plan include for media?
Every plan can localize website/app text, text inside images, and video. Free uses lifetime media allowances; paid plans refresh monthly and can buy overages without forcing an upgrade.
What is included in AI video translation?
Included minutes cover speech translation, AI dubbing, translated subtitles, and localized audio — powered by Verbalate inside GlotEO. Premium capabilities such as lip-sync, premium voice cloning, human-reviewed translation, and human QA are priced separately when needed.
